Toby Richman PT, CCRT
Hello, my name is Toby Richman , PT, CCRT
I am the owner and lead Canine Rehabilitation Therapist here at Vermont Canine Physical Therapy (VCPT). The need in the community for canine home health was obvious to me, so I founded Vermont Canine Physical Therapy to help keep your dog moving and pain-free.
My journey from human physical therapy (PT) to canine physical therapy through attending the Canine Rehabilitation Institute to earn my Certificate in Canine Rehabilitation Therapy (CCRT)was an obvious path. Having had 6 dogs throughout my life, there was unavoidable injury, surgery and of course aging. As a human physical therapist for 25+ years, I often intuitively applied my knowledge to my dogs to manage their pain and keep them moving. Being highly trained in both conventional physical therapy and canine physical therapy is the perfect combination for me to help your dog live the best life possible!
As someone who has a deep love for dogs, I understand just how much your furry friend means to you. That’s why I am committed to providing the best possible care so that your dog can enjoy many more happy, healthy years by your side. My mobile canine PT and rehab services are designed with your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. I know that being at home surrounded by familiar sights and smells is where your best pal feels most at ease, so I bring my expertise directly to you! I believe seeing your dog in the home environment is best for both you and your pet.
